About Me

Shirley Ann Davis born African American in 1961 was raised in the tough neighborhoods of Chicago Ill. Her love for photography started at the age of 5. For her the camera was a magical object that captured time in a bottle. In 1974 while in high school Ms Davis began to study Graphic Arts aka Print Shop back when shop was for BOYS only, it was then she fell in love with Typography. In 1995 while working in the Americorp  Children of the Future program Ms Davis earned the title Visual Art Teacher aka Junk Artist with the programs goals: teaching children how to express their emotions through artistic creation and the importance of RECYCLING by using items that are normally thrown away to create works of art. Her greatest accomplishment at the age of 58 was receiving her Associates Degree in the Science of Graphic Design at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. Now that her children are grown and out of the nest she has decided its time to spread her wings and pursue a life long dream, owning a Visual Art store so that she can share her photographic artistic adventures with those who love the world of VISUAL ART🌹🌹🌹🌹
